Caroline Dingle

Dr Dingle is an evolutionary ecologist based at the University of Hong Kong. Her research combines genetic and stable isotope analyses with behavioral field studies to address a broad array of questions related to the interactions between behavior and evolution. After a decade working in the Ecuadorian Amazon, Dr Dingle and her team now apply these techniques to better understand how animals adapt to life in an urban environment and how cities impact human-wildlife interactions. We are also interested in the role cities can play in the conservation of endangered species.
